Default EXHAUST MANIFOLD 1.8T

Is there any one out there that has a exhaustmanifold on there TT (1.8T) ? If so what brand? Did you notice much difference in power or turbo spool ? Is the exhuast any loader? here is a link to one that I am looking at
http://www.exoticspeed.ca/product_in...6416a6049f230e

Also thinking about a FMIC someone said TCARBON is good but there website is down right now.

2000 TT 180 Quattro : GIAC chip ( + 25-35 HP they say, with VAG-COM software I have checked the turbo pressure 2210 millibar about 17.5 psi boost ) throttle is not the smoothest right now, looking at getting a new DV ( 710N now ) Forge or HX Hyperboost ( I do not see that there are any spring kits for the HX. I read that with the Forge DV and chip you want the green spring ) Thank for any help

the manifold isnt a restriction on the stock turbo, no point in spending money trying to improve it. You should open up the exhaust first and also think about increasing the boost to 20-22psi

get yourself a 42draft downpipe and borla/blueflame exhaust and you will get a mad increase in power.

So how do you like your GIAC flash? Which program did you get? How long have you had it? Any problems with the tuning?

As for an exhaust... Remus! As soon as I can afford it this is the route I will be going.

Sure, if you buy the Remus mid-pipe. I'm talking about the rear muffler, the rest would have to be custom built.

The GIAC chip is good, but thethrottle is very toughy for the first part, the boost comes on very fast. The chip was in the car when I got it so I do not now how different it is from stock. I do not know which chip versionit is.
