Well i have had my 01 225 for about a month now and i was yet to race anyone....till tonight....I left my girls house round 11 as a pulledout atthe stoplight someone started riding my ***. i just kept going but they were swerving and riding my butt and finally they pull out and do one of those "ricer flybys" with the loudest fartcan i have ever heard. so we get to the next stop light and i noticed it was a wrx "not sti just for the record" the guy looked at me and was like you wanna race so i said sure. I was thinkin it was gonna be pretty close but from a stand still, shifting in to 2nd i had him by half a car by 4th after aquite few pretty sharp turns i couldnt even see him.well we get to the next light and he was like i missed 2nd lets do it again. so me, being the good person i am, agreed to. this time was from about a 20 roll i let him hit it first then i went. this section of the road was straight and flatfor a good 3 miles by the time i hit 130ish he was atleast 4 maybe even 6 cars back. i dont know if he got scared or if his car was just that slow....only noticeable mods he had were fartcan and really quite bov

 

Nice. I had a run with a wrx this past friday. A crazy highway run. It was really dumb of me to do it cause there was traffic but I got caught up in the moment. They arent as fast as you would think. Plus my clutch was slippin all over the place. Gettin that fixed this week!!!

the road was empty and not to mention i drive it EVERYDAY so i could probably do it all over again in my sleep...lol...even if the road was busy im sure my adrenaline would have made me do it anyway. the best part are the 13-15 back to back curves all say 35mph but ive got to 55+ exiting a few.....the only thing more exciting than that is draggin a knee on a bike going back to back to back...thats a realadrenalin rush... especially for the 1st time

yea after test drinving all the colors and BUYING a blue one... i would deff. say blue is the fastest color...thats why i bought it... not to mention it was the cheapest w/ least miles (dont make sense i know, oh well there loss my gain...) but thats besides the point..

Anyway yeah WRX's have full time AWD which holds them back at high speed...TT's have Haldex[sm=happy046.gif]AWD without the drivetrain loss.
