Hey Cincy your video sounds exactly what my car sounds like after I installed the HKS Shroom, and I have a stock DV. Should I upgrade to the 007? I have an 04' 225

Im guessing since YOU have one on... it is safe for me to put in a bov that doesnt recirc. It wouldnt hurt the engine would it? (dealers told me so but i dont listen to half of the things they said) lol

There are more than a handful of BOV guys running around on this board now. Before i showed up, i dont think there was a one. I got more than my share of crap for running both a diode and bov.

The dealers are beyond conservative. They dont promote aftermarket so what do you expect?

Red Sapphire, you are talking about the Forge 007 correct? It has the recirculation plus external wastegate correct? can you choose how much you recirculate and how much you expel into the atmosphere?

He means the forge splitter. No, you cant adjust the amont vented. Its a fixed ~10%

yea the 007 isnt adjustable...i had one and loved it - you've just gotta take it apart and grease it every once in a while. i have a baileys dv now (not the piston setup...its a diaphram) and i actually like it better. a little more metallic "psh" and boost is more responsive

if you want a splitter i believe turbo smart makes a dual port that has more adjustability than the forge splitter. soon im going to try the turbosmart supersonic bov with a cold side relocation kit...if you're still debating at that point ill let you know - always had DVs so who knows what'll happen
