Default forge tip help

i think my forge tip may have come off the turbo or possibly has never been on properly. i can't see down into the engine bay well enough to check it. i'm going to try to get it on jack stands this weekend to check it from underneath but don't know if i'll get a chance. what should i be looking (listening)for if this has occured, would my turbo still spool, dv still dump? i just installed a new maf and may have somehow jarred it loose. it ran great for about a week then my check engine light came on. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Do you have the ability to pull the code?

The tip connects the intake to the turbo. The turbo spool and dv will still work, but if it is off (even partailly), you are using unmettered air and the air that was mettered may not be going into the turbo. If you get another maf code it could be a possiblilty. You should be able to see it from the top, just remove the engine cover and peek from the driver side fender. Underneath is a much better veiw though.

It is possible to get codes and for them to correct themselves. Its usually nothing serious, but it does happen.
