Default Full FMIC kit 180tt Hard tube from turbo to TB

I have finally decided to end my adventures with the tt and am selling some parts off of it. I wanted to start with the FMIC since i will no loger go to a big turbo. I am leaving the modded k04 on there. the intercooler is generic but has worked well. it brought my IATs down quite a bit so much so that my car never reaches the half way mark on the temp guage. it settles one notch before. the tubing is steel and is solid all the way from the turbo to the TB. the tubing routes over the engine and down the drivers side in front of the battery. downto the intercooler and back up th the TB. it is the shortest route possible i could take with a front mount. the tubing is 2.5" the setup will easily handle 350~hp as the core is farely large. past that i would say a better core would be a nice change. but the fact remains most audi owners stay around 270-350hp roughly. I will take some pics. also something extrais that it relocates the diverter right in front of the throttle body. that kit costs 150 or so to do by itself. The only thing you would need to get is a silicone reducer from 2.5" to 2" to adapt to the turbos outlet.I need mine since i chopped my stock tubing up and have to make a set of stock tubes that get rid of the rubber hoses. The piece is about 10 bucks. i want 400 for the kit. no more no less......or more will work if you want to offer. shipping will be about 30 bucks as the pipes are big, as is the core.

I'm not selling the car just decided to stop modding it. i am finishing my stereo system and thats it. (well paint is coming but that is dependent on the budget. I still have 3 bikes i'm modding)

the k04 is the one modded by kinetic. its basically a k04-001 with a different compressor wheel on it. it was discontinued a while back since it was a bunch of money for a turbo that was no gt28rs. they cost 1600 basically the same as an eliminator turbo now days. i got it for 380 bucks and love it. it was a decent increase over my ko3s. as soon as the rain stops i will take pics of the intercooler. the kit is great. I installed thermocouples in the kit one about 16" from the turbo and one right at the throttle body, and the temp drops were well over 100 degrees. (i dont recall the exact ammount but i have it written down in my notebooks)

the turbo sounds like a ko4 turbine (like 2mm increase) and a more effiecient ko3s compressor and cover (inlet is a couple mm larger). Sounds like what a ko4 should be.

If you want to sell the fmic, your really going to need pics.

i've been trying but its raining constantly and i work late every day. Maybe today i'll take off earlier if it stop raining for a bit.i think the k04-001 had the same shaft as a k03s but the turbine wheel is 2mm larger. kineticmodified the compressorcompressor wheel for it. they used a modified housing and the compressor wheel is the equivalent of the rs4 compressor wheel. the problem with it is that these turbos blew up when overboosted due to the small shaft. i've been runnig it at a mild 18psi and it works great. it really made a noticable difference over a k03s when i ran it at 23psi but with the mbc the car was really choppy like an on/off switch

the choppy was due to the ball and spring mbc. You need a bleed or combo mbc. Think the ko4 has a 1mm thicker shaft.

i'm going to try out your mbc as i got it for 50 bucks. i acctually used an evc not mbc i call it mbc because its not programming. the one i used was the HKS evc but i think there was something wrong with it. now its strictly programming but the k04 software runs less boost then the k03 software. i dont know why.

if your using the hpbc, you will like it. Are you sure you werent using e05 sw? Its sounds like what the turbo was made like. I know they used low boost since over like 20psi would snap the shaft. But the ko4 sw should have you spiking like mid 20 psi.

it was done by giac but i'm not 100% sure. they never have anything done for the 180tt and they adapted the supposed k04-01 software from the gti to the tt. could have been the e05 but i'm not sure. garret is so secretive.i couldnt get any info on the programming such as maps specs etc. i wish i had someone local that knows how to mess with vagcom i did a little but havent used it in a while and dont really remember what to change anymore.I might mess with lemminwinks a bit. I'm only looking for a constant 20psi and to hold boost better/ longer.
