Hey guys, decided im going to the army and ill be leaving in march. Im keeping my car but am wondering what i should do with my 10k bonus i get after AIT School Training lol. I need to get rid of my Test pipe and everyone interested in it flaked lol, but im tired of looking at it, i was gonna throw it in the dumpster today lol. Umm, im wondering what you guys think i should do. Ill be able to bring my car with me after 26weeks.

 

10k? Be careful, you could blow a lot on a TT if you let yourself lol

 

HAHA I joined the navy im in the same spot i leave for basic in march. My car is in the shop now gettin ready to get the motor rebuilt after my TB broke. Only difference is ill be w/o a car for almost a year b/c im going to SWCC school after AIT school hopefully ill make it and get my 40k bonus.

 

If your not even going to have your car or use it much, I would spend the money on something else.

ya your right, I mean i was thinking eventualy to get another sportbike, it would be my 3rd lol. But i am having a daughter on the 10th of feb. and contemplating marrying my girl before swearing in. I won't have crap to spend my money on realy besides her and ill be having some extra cash laying around with my car also. i realy want to complete what i started to do. New Injecters, Maybe FMIC, W/M Injection, New Tune. I figured since i would most likely be in sanatonio,tx i would get a revo chip this time around. what you think guys?

 

If your not sworn in yet DONT! I'm speaking from experience. If your the kind of guy that allows idiots to be your boss, let ********(that u would normaly stomp on)yell at and disrespect you, and you have no free-will of your own: then and only then should you join the military. There are other options. I was involved in enough hairy **** to know that it's not as glamorous of a job as advertised(and that's IF you get a high risk/pay job). For me it was good because it was an alternative to jail/death. Not eveyone has better options. If nothing else, make sure you do what I did. Get a guaranteed job with special forces. Go talk to an airforce recruiter. Ask about Combat control.

 

Get the poor girl a ring and yourself a tune so you can actually drive your car!!

 

a car is quite possible the worst investment you can do.

but then again, it's the most fun.
