I have recently started hearing noise coming from the drivers side wheel. At first I thought it was the breaks and brought it into my local Audi dealer for them to take a look: nothing wrong with the breaks. Fast forward to today, I started hearing a high-pitched whining noise coming from the same wheel when I hit around 70MPH on the highway. Tire pressure is good, the breaks are fine, what could it be?

I am going to bring it in obviously, I am just trying to get an idea what it is before hand so I know what kind of financial damage to expect.

sounds like a wheel bearing went bad. Kind of odd on a 2 year old car.

 

shouldn't it be covered by warranty??
