GT28rs transverse eliminator kit
I was trying to find the tread on the GT28rs transverse eliminator kit for my 01 Audi TT 225. How are the reviews coming out so far? Is it worth the $1800 for the turbo? My exhaust and D.P. are coming next week and I wanted to upgrade my turbo. Any suggestions?

If you got the cash then go ahead and go for it, remember you will need a few other goodies too, a coupler for the downpipe, new intake hose, clutch, better fmic alot of things to consider when going Bigg Turbo. You will also need the ecu kitfrom ATP, but like I stated before if you got the $$ then go ahead and go for it.

Also remember that the more intake air flow that is compressed into the engine the more gas needed to produce a good air to fuel ratio, I am not familiar with this particular turbo kit and if it includes new injectors or fuel pump but those are also two things you might want to upgrade to make sure you don't run lean and knock (detonate). I would recommend getting a boost, EGT andeven if you want anair/fuelratioguage and install them before the turbo upgrade, see what the stock reading is for yourboost pressure and exhaust temp before the upgrade and then check the reading after the upgrade to see if you are running a good mixtureor if uneed to up the fuel pressure to compensate for the extra air flow. Apex-i makes an s-afc controller which is a piggy back fuel computer which is a cheap way to get by before upgrading your injectors but can only give you so much more gas over the stock computer fuel map. Good luck with the upgrade
