gutted the vert TT to hit high 13's
 

So today I am going to the drag strip. I took out my pass. seat, all the stuff out in the trunk (including the spare tire, tools etc.) all of the carpet that actually weighs. My car is kind of lifted in the rear. LOL. I have an APR chip (boosting 21psi), forge FMIC, 42 Draft 3" DP, Samco hose, intercooler misting, and I opened my exhaust right after the cat to lose more weight. The exhaust is about 40- 50 lbs. Hopefully my car is about 3100lbs at and around 280hp. Do you think I can hit high 13's? I'll let you know when I get back from the track. That is my goal!!!!!

I'm shocked that he didn't remove the back seat. That weighs at least 50 lbs and is good for another .01 off your quarter mile time! :eek:

i would have removed taillights and side mirrors as well.. thats another 15-20lbs right?

hell...take off the doors while ur at it... they have to be about40 lbs each.... just make sure ur seat belt is on https://www.audiforums.com/micons/m9.gif
