I hope they told you to use the intercooler closest to the turbo, considering you have a 225.
But I was under the impression that a dump valve was similar to a wastegate and not a diverter valve... Oh well!

 

am new to all this turbo stuff first turbo car i have had so i dont get it the dumpvalve is just a blow off valve not recirculating so the old boschone is blanked out now should i have got one that replaces it with a blow off valve on it

 

you have it fine, just install it like you have it and ignore becca. BOV/dumpvalve on the chargepipe like i showed above and plug the intake. Are you from UK of some other place?

yes i am from the uk. i will have to take some pics of my car to show, then you will be able to see what i have done, and where. what difference does it make whether you have a bov or a recirculating valve?

A bov releases the air into the atmosphere, and a dv recirculates it.

 

yes but it sounds better, would it be better to replace the original with a valve that does both?
