What spark Plugs you use?? Post it here
I'm in the market for some spark plugs for my 2001 Audi TT Quattro 225HP Stock!! I've searched past articles and everything is jumbled and half in one post and half in another. So i want an ultimate spark plug post to start now. And any info on why one metal is better than the other and/or if someone wants to explain Double, Triple Platinum etc... would be appreciated. Pros and cons of each would be appreciated.

I run the Denso IK22's.
My thinking on the multi tipped plugs is that you're shielding the spark from the intake charge. Maybe not so big an issue with turbo cars, since the air is really swirling into the cylinder, but I could see it actually hampering performance on a N/A car.

I prefer one. There are some people with the Bosch plugs with 3 and i dont think thats a good idea.

I have single prongs in my TT but I wonder why would the 3 or 4 prongs ones not be a good idea. I think that the multiple ones are used and recommended by car manufacturer because they last longer and thus they can show that the car cost of maintenance is less. Just wondering

i thought reccomended was every 20k. I will be doing my every 6-12. My car has 85k and I just got the bkr7e @.028 in, the plugs that were in their (only had the car like 6 months) look to be stock, they were friggin gnarly and gap was deff greater than .032 :-P c
