i have heard just about everything,,,when people complement this car.....i get" is that a porsche"? or my favorite...."what is that? its so cool and sexy" ( yes i get that a lot) some young kid asked me if it was a 350z....i couldnt help but laugh and say no its an Audi....and today at the lake some drunk couple surrounded me and said "WOW what is that....the guy asked "is that an Audi?" i love this car.....it does bring a bit of attention though

I've gotten a few funny comments myself. Mostly blow-hards who wanna look cool, but end up looking just plain silly. Like: "No, it's a 350z. You can tell by the grill" or "TT's are slow. They'd be alot faster if they had a turbo". I just smile and laugh... The one that gets me flamed is when chicks say it's "cute". Some girls and ricer kids just aren't privy to the luxury/sport class our cars fall into. Sad really...
I can however see the mistakes in thinking it's Porsche. I've owned two and some of the body styling/design is pretty similar. Same kind of sleek lines... Mmmmmm.
It doesn't hurt that Porsche is just two doors down from Audi in the Auto Union production plant. [sm=smiley2.gif]

I get the usual comments about it being a nice girly car, or just a car for crusing, but when you go to the party and all the girls want to ride with you and not the EVO, STI or SRT-4 then it makes it worth your day. Not to mention its a roadster so I can only take one!!!
