Default Hibernating.

I'm putting the TT away for this winter at the end of this weekend. I might take it out once when it snows just to mess around in the parking lot at work. I just wanted to get an idea of everything I should do before & during it's winter nap. Oil change, how long/often I should idle, coolant & etc.

Your car might appreciate some fuel stabilizer.

i do the same every winter....all you do is fuel stabil...and run that for like ten miles before storing it. also disconnect battery. moth ***** all around car...and even in the engine bay!!! i put mine on jacks so i dont worry about my tires getting flat spots. i might be missing something but thats the main points plug your exhaust tips with socks or rags. and b4 you start it for the first time after winter....turn the key so it just cranks over but not fully starting the car....primes the oil system

It would be a sad thing to have to put my car away for the entire winter. glad I don't do it.

I'd put it away out of the snow if I could. Other than that I don't see the necessity for it.

your tires wont get any flat spots sitting for only one winter. def put moth ***** around wheel wells, engine bay, etc., anywhere you think rodents can get. disconnect battery, fuel stabilizer, and also starting it up and letting it run for a minute or two hear and there wont hurt. just repeated a bunch of stuff but maybe it will help if more people are tellin you the same thing
