Default HID conversion relay

hey, do i need to get a relay if im putting in HIDs? could they work without it? im not familiar with HIDs so any help is good help...

don't you HAVE HIDs?

I've never seen a TT w/o them.

HID = Xenon, BTW. The bluish white light (stock), vs a yellow white of a halogen. Some people change heat ranges for the really purple look.

my cell phone for some reason quit sending picture messages... soooooooo i cant post em up, but i have seen other TTs with bluish lights that i know for sure werent modded and i do not have those bluish lights... just good ole lights.

The cars you may have seen could hav had the 8ks like you are ordering. But stock they are 4200k. If you do in fact have halogens you don't need a relay. You can just hook it up to the current lights. Atleast that what i did on my hid fogs when i had them on my m3

alright well like i said i will find out... and the cars i saw did not have 8ks... trust me i know haha, bro has 8s and they are twice as bright...

8ks are actually dimmer than 4200s because the lumens is lower.

your car already has a relay for the lights......did it come as a kit (lights, housing, balasts) or are you just swapping bulbs
