Is there a turbo that spools as quick as a ko3 that produces 300+ AWHP?

 

Isn't that called a Ko4?

 

the ko4 would need some serious work to reach 300fwhp, not to mention awhp. The smallest and faster spooling turbo that will get 300awhp would be a pushed gt28rs and a gt2871r 200rpm later. So we are talking ~3300rpm and ~3500rpms*

*thats peak boost, the turbo will make boost pre3k

 

So the gt2871r would peak at about the same time as a ko4 but with 300 awhp?

 

If thats when you peak with a ko4, then yes. when pushed, the 2871r should make ~350awhp, but you will need rods for that.

I was thinking w/ the Ko3.. Why not leave it in place then put one of those turbos on the exhaust further down that would spool at like 5kish?

 

well you already have the clutch for it. Now you just need the $4k for the kit and then a fmic after that. And no, a tCarbon wont work

 

How about the ones you're gonna fab up? Oh and i also need a full exhaust which i'm workin on gettin as soon as i can get a day off for a quote.

 

What i plan on using, you can expect almost ambient temps as you iat's
