how to wire around fan control module HELP
ok I have had it with my fan control module, I'm on my 3rd replacement and both temp senders. I have the odball which is the "h" with the 10 pin connector and I have the blue sensor, I get a replacement it works fine for a few weeks then go back to its old games. I have never seen over 103 degrees C on the hvac readout. but it shows one notch past half on the temp gauge. and the other oddball thing is my fans do not come on when the ac is on like I guess they are suppose to. So I was thinking of using the current temp sensor in the rad or the blue sensor and a relay to turn my fans on anyone done this? what are the pros & cons , Thanks for any input Wayne
I think 90-100 you're okay. Fans are programmed to kick in at 104.
I also though I read at one time the fans should be running whenever you're stopped but I"m unsure because I cant find where I read it. Maybe I just dreamt/imagined it.
