Until you eliminate the vacuum/boost leak or the dirty throttle body as a source, the rest of the realm of possibilities is mute. You need to exclude the most common/obvious first.
How would I check for a boost leak or dirty throttle body? Any links?

buy or build.

I built one for under $20

Throttlebody would need removal, or at least a good look at with a flashlight.

I'll give you 2 hints. Its attached to the intake manifold, and the engine is attached to the other end of the manifold.

My car seems to do that too, the idle moves around from 700-1000 rpm at time to time.

I had the same problem and after doing a tune up it went away. While I was searching the problem out though I used Limmewinks to increase the rpm's when idling to keep her from dying on me and the embarrassment. It by no means is a fix and shouldn't be used as one.

I'm gonna check my TB this weekend and see if its dirty. If not, exactlywhich pipes/tubing should I look for leaks?

Mine does this too, but not as extensive. Usually it hoves between 700-800, but every once and a while at a light it drops down to 600 or so and I give it a rev to bring it back up (habit from driving my talon I guess). Is the 700-800 fluxuation normal, or should it hold steady at 750?
