Default I'm gonna need some advice - timing belt failure

2001 225HP Roadster. 59,100 mi. My timing belt failed yesterday, at idle. Of course, not knowing what happened, I tried repeatedly to restart it. So, if the engine wasn't damaged by the failure, I'm sure it is now.
So, I do have the skills to fix it, but a little help is always nice. I've read the step-by-step "how-to" that is somewhere on this site. That is the best technical document I've ever seen!
I have a manual on order.
I have started the tear down. I figure the head is going to have to come off, and I am working on it. I have everything off the head except the exhaust manifold. My questions:
-How in the heck do you get to the exhaust manifold bolts. How many and what head size/type?
-Can the head bolts be reused or are they stretch bolts?
-Anyone got a good used AMU head with valve train they want to sell?
-I've only owned this one for 8 months - any chance of some partial comp by Audi due to the Class Action?

Sorry this is so long. Thanks in advance.

Manifold to head is 13mm bolts, Some 225's have an odd turbo to manifold bolts which i cant remember what they are since my 180 has 17mm bolts.

They are stretch and need replaced or it will fail. They are cheap to replace

-Anyone got a good used AMU head with valve train they want to sell?

Any 1.8t head will do (VW or Audi). The only difference will be if it has vvt or not. The AMU does not so you will need to swap the cam tensioner if you find one with vvt or since its a good time and wears quickly, replace it since the non vvt tensioners are cheap

-I've only owned this one for 8 months - any chance of some partial comp by Audi due to the Class Action? Nope. Next time change it at 60k or change to a manual tensioner that wont fail

It is a lot easier if you first remove the 3 turbo to exhaust manifold and remove the head with the exhaust manifold. Then remove the exhaust manifold,

Default Thanks, mafiaboy

I've been looking at it and am thinking the same thing. Your advice just confirms it. I appreciate it.
