Default Im to lean, please help

So There are a bunch of codes that came up with my car but the one that Im concerned with is:
17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean. I have the APR 93 octane chip,3" dp, exhaust, etc. do I need to get a 4 bar FPR or can I just adjust it with leminwinks? Just let me know thanks

You either have a vacuum leak (somewhere under manifold or by the dv) or have an exhaust leak aka blown gasket (either manifold > turbo or turbo > dp)

I had the same problem on my 180t quattro. Turns out there are a whole bunch of little vac hoses that run under your manifold and the heat from the engines cooks the rubber to oblivion... I had two tiny split hoses which I replaced with silicone and "all's well in babylon" now...

I'll post pics of their location....

the stocklines heat up and get brittle, and swapping to silicone, the vacuum lines will be ableto handle the heat far better

Oh, BTW... when replacing rubber hose for silicone ones make sure you pick up some sturdy (thick) silicone for vac lines. Sometimes the suction on weak silicone hose can collapse the line. Just be careful of the Pep-Boys special Honda dress-up crap.... it can be sub-par hose sometimes...

Check your MAF. Has it been replaced?

You can pick up good quality hoses from Hose Techniquesjust get one of the universal SVH packages. It has enough size range to cover most any hose on the car.
