would a 2000 audi tt be expensive to insure at 17 yrs old?

It isn't to bad. How is your driving record? Are you going to be on your parents insurance? If your on your parents it will be considerably cheaper. Insurance rates are based of age, type of vehicle, cost of repair, and the safety features. If I were to guess you would be about 150 a month.

it would be with my parents..we have 5 or 6 cars insured w/ them both houses..

i have never gotten a ticket/pulled over or anything, and i did drivers ed

Your insurance will be very cheap then as you will get a discount for multiple cars and a discount for combing ie. house and car. The insurance for my TT with full coverage is 100 a month with 3 other cars and home insurance grouped together I also have 1million in liability and 500k in collision. So if your coverage isn't as high as mine yours may be cheaper.

I pay $150 and I'm over 30. Clean record.

yeah but how old are you ecko? i heard the price for 16-22 yr olds is crazy high

I got mine when I was 21, and on my parents insurance, with me as the primary driver, they wanted around $2000/6 months (enough that we ended up putting my mom as the primary driver). That was with 2 speeding tickets and my parents having multiple cars/home on our insurance.

the Insurance business is fuckin bullshit! They rob you like crazy. A lot of it is due to rate adjustments, caused by fraud from other policy holders.

My tt is $50/month full coverage, Motorcycle $75/month full coverage. I'm happy. When I was 18 my caddy was $200/month with poor coverage.

to answer your question I am 21 and i got my TT 20.
