From the FAQ:
But really, it's a dual bov, right? The photo doesn't look the same as some of the others I found online.
Q.What BOV will work with my car?
A. Ask this question and you may get flamed. Dont know what that is ask and find out. No, seriously the TT was not designed to work with a BOV. It uses a divertion valve instead, companies like Forge and Stratmosphere make very reliable DVs for the TT. You may want to make sure that your DV that you get, you can "tune" so in the future when you run higher boost it will be able to hold it and you can get the max performance out of you turbo. *You will need a new DV after chipping your TT* The stock one will most likely go out due to its OEM design. There are a couple of BOV that willwork with the TT. These are"dual"BOVs meaning thattheyvent both into the intake and intooutside air.One oftheseisHKS Super SequentialBOV. I am not sure of others.

So do you get an email every time I post or do you just actively wait for me to respond to threads? I posted that thread and asked if it was dual. Is that okay, sir?
I was attempting to familiarize myself with a turbosmart bov. The original poster said he was an audi noob and referred to it as a BOV. How the hell am I supposed to know that it was a hybrid or dual? Oh, that's right, by asking. But wait... that's what I did and you came down on me in the douchiest way possible.
It should be dual because the box that i received it in and the manual that i got with it said it was a dual port but it may be wrong box, im not really sure because the person that i bought it from said it was used for a few weeks, and i actually went on google to search for a dual port bov but it did look different from mine
and when you say to loosen the tension on the valve do i just unscrew the hose clamps a tad? im sorry if this sounds stupid
and thanks for fast help guys

yes, you have a dual port (manufactures call it differnt things)
Turn the silver top to loosen the valve. Should be counter clockwise acouple clicks at a time till it goes away.
