ko4 works good enough with a single smic, obviously better with a dual. but yeah convert any of the higher block codes and they will usually make more power initially. tuned is another story. ive put 25+ on stock amu bottoms with only upgraded head stud bolts.

Oh yeah he said HIS was the k04/23 not the k04/20...I hate to kick the sh%$ out of a fellowTTer, but I didn't like his attitude
All that means is the compressor cover is differnt (shorter outlet) and that i think the 23's have a egt installed. The ko4-20/22/23 are all available on a 225

to do the proper "225 k04" upgrade you need a decent amount of things

k04-020 turbo
225 exhaust manifold
225 injectors
dual smic or fmic (not sure if the single smic would be enough for the k04)
re-map
i'm sure there might be more, this is just what I have gathered in picking up info here and there

who has actually seen a tt that has done the "225 k04" upgrade?
why PROPER? All you need is the manifold, 380cc injectors (genisis are like $250 compared to $400 for the same spray pattern) and then a couple parts from pro-imports to make it fit the rest of the stock or stock replacement peices like dp. Why buy stuff you dont need and dont function well?

BTW, i say your trash talk on AW, funny stuff. Im not like nor do i wish to be "steve of AF"

Please explain how tuned is another story? Also stock head studs have now held over 650whp on Ed's 674whp t3/t67 gti with believe it was almost 40psi.....FYI
