Default Euro bumper?

So i need a new bumper because my brother backed into my car a few weeks back.. I was wondering if 1) it is legal to have a euro license plate in the rear and 2) if i would need a special euro bumper for that

(living in CA, 02 225q)

1.) I don't believe so, but check your state's laws.
2.) I'd imagine that a rear euro bumper would have a space large enough for a euro plate. And an American rear bumper would have a large enough space for an American plate... Dontcha think?

It is illegal in Ca to have a rear Euro Plate (you are guaranteed to get pulled over if you try it).. Alot of these guys have the front plates as Euro aswell. That is illegal also, it depends on if the cop wants to %$@^ with you or not. State law requires that you have a license plate on your front (issued from the DMV).

Its for those special circumstances when a crime is commited. That way the vehicle can be identified from the front of the car

and we should just make some plates that spin... one side, shaved, press a button when you see a cop, they flip, and there are the plates!
