Lowering my 2001 tt
I need some advice, I want to lower my car, just a bit to get rid of the fat gap between the wheel and body. I dont wanna spend the money on coils, but if I wouldnt mind the springs. I just wanna know what people think about just doing good springs. Will it ride ok and is it gonna wear out my suspension. Thanks

Hey hows it going, Coils are alot of money. But prob worth it. I have a pair of Tien s-tech Springs brand new never installed for 200 plus shipping. There good springs my friend has them on his MAzda 3 and the ride is good its not bouncy or anything..

If you upgrade the springs, mkae sure to upgrade the struts too (I think only the front has struts on these cars, right?). Otherwise, the different spring rate will blow your OEM struts out.

I have Apex 1.6" Springs and rides great! 225 TT

Im running VMAXX witha half KMAC kit and it is destroying my tires. All 4 wear very quickly on the inside tread. I will be doing some adj control arms for the rear soon, but dunno what to do about the fronts.
prolly doesnt help that I am running wheels that are 9.5 wide up front and 11 wide in the rear |
