im thinking bout putting a magnaflow muffler on my 2000 1.8L TT. Its not a quattro. I also have no resonator on the car right now. any suggestions as to which muffler would b good to put on and would sound nice. gimme some model numbers or links if u can. thanx guys!

Magnaflow mufflers are cheap and work and sound great...

How does it sound with no resonator and stock muffler?

if you will look under topic "exhaust clip finally" i just had a magna flow with no res. put on. It will give you anidea of what it will sound like

yea i was thinkin bout the box style. any tips on which 1 to get? wuts the dimensions i need if im running stock pipes?

The longer the quiter. Just make sure its not chambered and has whatever inlet/outlet you plan on using.

ya im gonna try a similar set up to the custom mufflex and put the muffler where the stock resonator is and have two resonated tips, i love the way the mufflex sounds

You want it to go strait through with no ubstructions. Also you really should increase the exhaust to 2.5-3" since the stock 2.17" is no where near big enough
