Default major cluster problem.

ok i have a 2001 audi tt 225. i bought the vehicle and the cluster gauges were bad. called the dealer. i do know about the problems with them by the way. 760 for a new one. so i found a company in MA called bba reman who rebuilds them for 250 with lifetime warranty. so i thought this was awesome. so i sent it there from usps with no insurance. the damn cluster got lost in the mail!!!! so now im sick to my stomach. can i get a used cluster anywhere?

you should still be able to contact the post office and track the route it should have taken, like if you send it from dc or something to california, ask what hubs it would go to and sorting hubs. A cluster isnt like a piece of normal mail. It couldnt hurt to try.

USPS has lost all sorts of thinks like cell phone I was suposed to recieve. If the tag falls off of it they put it in a pile and if you call they might just have it, but I doubt it.The workers take stuff and sell it !!!

BBA Reman is in Taunton, MA.

If the class action doesn't warranty my failed cluster, I will be sending it there.

Interesting ttster, I was reading the about the class action suit and was wondering, the dealer assumed that a spike from charging the battery affected my cluster, Do you guys think that if I present the findings from the suit will the dealer refund at least the cost of cluster??? It’s a long shot, but it’s a shot... What you guys think?
