i was recently talking to my audi dealership about getting my timeing belt changed, and they told me the obvious "audi recommends to do it at 105k, yada yada, yada," But they'll look at it, but they told me that at 80k miles, there is a major tune that they do, w/e that means has anyone ever heard of this major tune?

 

They won't be able to tell if the TB is bad by visual inspection, so don't let that slip by. Do you have a CPO?

"Major Tune" = Haldex Fluid, Trans Fluid, Oil Change, Air/Cabin Filter, Inspect brakes, Change brake fluid, etc. Look in your owner's manual for the list of things to be done at 80K.

 

Is it covered with a CPO car?

 

Only if it fails, then it pays for an engine rebuild.
