New to TT with a couple questions
 

Hi I have been searching and have come up with one question still needing to be answered.

I am purchasing a 01 TT 225 with 130k miles and no records of what services were done when, it currently has a boost leak I have to figure out, and with the miles I would like to do the timing belt, all fluids, and then shoot for 300 AWHP.

I am on ECS tuning and found the timing belt kits and my question is with the Gates Racing kit that comes with the light weight pulley kit. Has anyone installed it and have they noticed any troubles or should I just the OEM kit? Does the stock pulley have a damper in it to help balance the internals of the engine?
