Default New TUrbo

So I need a new turbo for the 2001 225 TT. I got qouted 1500 about for the part alone new because it was a rare turbo mount. Anyone have anyideas on this. Should I just go big?

well if you want to go BT later on down the road then why not now?

i would go big if you have the money

I think you could buy a bigger turbo for around that. Ask Cincy, he knows what's up.

you have a '01 meaning you should have a ko4-22 turbo which you should be able to fine for no more than $350 used. Its a simple install (no special tools required) and will take a first timer about 3-5hrs to install.

Most BT setups should run you $3500-5k depending on turbo and sw choice

Hmm, the mechanic said something about the 00-01 well 75% were built with a different setup than the 02. I am going to look around and check the other shops even though this guy is super good. I have some time though. I don't think I am going Big turbo, to much worries with all that power coming from a turbo.

Well the thing is some have ko4-20's and some have ko4-22's.
