You know... I saw that 500 HP TT the other night... and although it has alot of power... I wouldn't trade mine for it. He may have power... but that car is in horrible shape otherwise. It almost looks like he paid different shops to do his mods and they were like fly by night shade-tree mechanic shops. I plan on doing just about everything on my car myself. I have done it all myself thus far, and I'm completely satisfied with the quality of work. The guys at that tuner shop were impressed at the condition of my car even after it had been modded. I would never want my car to be modded by so many people that it started to look glued together like a "8th grade birdhouse project"

my $.02
Definitely prefer quality of upgrade and workmanship over sheer power anyday.

I like that look, I may decide to take my plastic piece off and see how it looks on black? But going back to the subject, yes I am a big fan of doing everything myself and making it look good while I do it. Sure you can piece together a fast motor but doing it with style is the hard part. I am just trying to decide where to hid everything. I want it to look mostly stock under the hood. If at all possible.

the 24v's will (mkiv) and the 12v (mk3) wont. or obd 1 vs obd 2. The obd1 is usually the TB you get when you go standalone cause you need a dbc TB.
