I guess I laughed too hard at this a few too many times.

I was driving on an onramp behind some slow car. They got on the highway on the far right lane, I pulled on behind them and signaled and went into the next lane to pass them. They decided now was a good time to get into my lane for no reason with no signal, so I changed lanes before they had a chance to hit me. It was 4 lanes, so I had 2 lanes free with no cars in them...

Where the roads merge there is a curb that I never noticed before because I usually don'tmovemore than one lane over at that point. THE CRUB ATTACKED ME! Well, actually I merged into it @ 75 mph...Chewed up both of my drivers side 18's (Stock). I drove slowly for a while, made sure nothing felt or sounded like it was falling off, and that I didn't have a slow leak. Pulled over when I got the chance, no damage other than the wheels being chewed up. Alignment is fine, tires are holding air, I'm lucky.

Glad it stayed shiny side up. Watch out for Crubs guys.

I almost bought new wheels a week or 2 ago.
If I hadn't had my car payment and insurance double up last month I would have destroyed MeanAudiA6's wheels...

I would have been real bummed if I d!cked those up right after buying them.

 

That would have been pretty sad!
Guess you'll look twice now; even though you really had no choice in this situation.
Way to save the TT!
