I washed my remote key in the washer i caught it before soap hit it but it got wet and now won't work do i have to buy a new one or is there something i can do to fix it?

 

let it dry out for a few days and see if it comes back to life.

Replace the battery and try again.

Probably won't do anything, but it's worth a try.
If not, you have a spare for your brand new key.

 

yea i tryed the battery too still dont work which sucks where do i get a new one besides the dealer i looked on ebay and all all i see is the ones that have the unlock lock and trunk symbols on em i know they will work but tt's have the ones where the buttons are a "straight line"
also anyone know how to reprogram these remotes or how to program the new one?

post a picture of your current key fob.

i'm not understanding because as far as I know they all look hte same.
