Oil Sensor Light
The Oil Sensor Light just came on in my '01 TT 225 Roadster. I changed the oil (after the light came on) with 5W30 Mobil1 Synthetic & the light is still coming on. I cannot find any information about this light in the owners manual nor does it illuminate when performing a "test" of the diagnostic lights. I tried hooking my scanner to the car, but it read no codes current or stored. Anyone know what it is & how to make it go away? Thanks.

RE: Oil Sensor Light
The low oil light, or the oil service light - the one that tells you when its time to change the oil?
Do you have a vag-com scanner, or a generic scanner? If its vag-com, you can reset the service interval with it, if not, you need to do it thru the clock/odo buttons on the cluster. |
RE: Oil Sensor Light
This is a yellow light that illuminates in the same location as the low fuel or low washer fluid light. It is a picture of the "oil can" with the word sensor. It typically takes 5-10 minutes of driving or run time for it to illuminate. It is frustrating more than anything. Any help as to how to make it go away would be greatly appreciated.
