thread jack, my bad.

What would be the best way to do the reverse/back up lights (keeping them protected) when I tint the tail lights?

Back to thread: The Black with red would look sick. Yellow would too, but it's an Audi not Chevy, but just a thought from one redneck to any other out there.

Off thread: Somebody on here did it, I believe they just taped it off with the blue painters tape, I think there are pics somewhere on here as well.
On topic:I'm from Ga but not a redneck lol. I'm doing the whole car black with small hints of red. Not like the gti's but Just here and there. My vtda is black and red and my hoses will be red so I think it look cool to keep things the same. I know

I know Lucas (EliTTe) has clear lights.

I'm planning on a black red interior, and engne bay theme as well. Maybe Dark green on black, but red/black is always a sexy choice.

You can use liquid mask (hobby store). It's a thickish film you brush on the rings, paint the covers, let dry then peel the mask film off the rings. Works well and saves lots of xactoknife/tape time.

Can I paint mine with regular audi paint or do I have to use high temp paint for it to look good for a year or two. I have a 2.8 so it runs a little cooler than a 1.8
