Default Persistant Oil Leak

Hi Guys,
I have a 2004 Audi TT Quattro 225 and a persistent oil leak. At first I thought it was coming from the oil Drain Plug or the Oil Filter but I checked both areas and they are dry. The Oil leak seems to come from somewhere near the Driver side towards the front. When I look underneath with the splashpan off it seems that oil is pooling right by the Rubber Coupling bycrossover pipe from the driver side to the passenger side stock intercoolers. The Valve cover gasket is fine and I have no idea what is on the front Driver side that could be causing this oil leak. Is there some Oil line perhaps that I am missing?

I looked but can't see where the leak could be coming from.
My garage floor always has a nice oil sludge underneath in the same area. If anyone has any idea what it could be or what could cause this I would be forever grateful

Did you spill some oil when adding oil? It takes a LONG time (10 days) to drip all the way down. Try to use a pressure washer to clean up the oil and check it right when it starts dripping. Or just buy a uv leak kit. Maybe try some oil stop leak additive?

Are you sure it's oil, and not tranny fluid?

Also check the PCV valve on the front of the engine above the oil filter (well, that's were it is on the 180). I had a similar problem but found the drain plug was the culprit.

PCV is a likey cause...the suction pump under the intake manifold as well as other PCV stuff can and will leak when getting old
