Power steering leak/issue, any suggestions would be awesome!

I have a 2002 TT 180, it had a slow leak even though I couldn't find a drip on the ground anywhere because over the course of roughly one month it started making the traditional power steering noise, so I topped it off and then one day out of no where it lost all of its fluid. I spent god knows how many hours under the stupid thing tracing every lousy power steering line and I found bagel. Nothing. Doesn't appear to be any leaks around the pump or reservoir so I'm not really sure what my next step should be. Thanks in advance!

Thinking it could be from the rack...suggestions on what to do from here?

There has to be build up somewhere from dirt and fluid.

Sounds interesting, let us know if you figure it out. How many miles are on the car?

Sorry it took me so long to get back on here, this happened the week I was moving back into school and starting classes and work so I'm a little busy. Topped the fluid off (it was bone dry), jacked up the car, anddd sure enough, the boots on either side of the car were pissing out whatever fluid was actually in there. Oh and the car just rolled 110,000. It was owned by some high school kids that may or may not have hooned it around a few times, and I have been known to rip the occasional donut in heavy, fresh snow. Probably contributed. It's weird that it just happened all of a sudden though, no noise from power steering, driving down the road, then *insert obnoxious whining noises*. Topped it off and it dumped straight out. Oh well... shop can't do it until the 7th, 1300 estimated parts and labor...yay...
