if you installed to filter the correct direction, its not the problem. Have you checked the battery for a charge and it has a good clean ground?

The main ground is connected to the starter. Just make sure all the connections are clean

everything is good, and i also had a mechanic look at it and he informed me that the fuel is reaching the engine and that it has nothing to do with my fuel lines or filter..
any help

so you have wet plugs?

Need 3 things for an engine to run. Maybe 4. Fuel, Air, Ignition source. (alternate #4 would be ignition timing, but that still sorta falls under #3).

If your getting fuel, you can check that off the list. Next check for spark, because unless you car is in outer space, its most likely getting air.

Might not hurt to reset the ECU/clear codes. I unplugged my injectors once and cranked the car over a bunch of times to re-lube cylinders after doing a head gasket. When I plugged the injectors back in, the car wouldn't start. Wouldnt inject until I had cleared codes. Totally didn't expect that. Sometimes the ECU just isn't sure whats up.
