Default replacing 2009 tt passenger side sun visor clip

Anyone know how to remove it? Knowing Audi it's some convoluted method that is anything but intuitive and without the correct knowledge ends up me breaking the thing. Should be easy to replace once I know how to get the broken one off.

Well I found out how. Just pry it off with a dull knife. Careful, the piece cost me $35 + tax. The pried off piece is just a cover, and costs additional if you break it while taking it off. It's the under piece with the hook that costs the most.

Had to replace mine on a 2012 A3. At first I went cheap (frugal) and bought of the Bay and they were crap.

The metal spring won't line up once you install the base and the cap binds not allowing it to lock on. Actually broke one trying to get it to lock in.

Then I bought actual Audi OEM parts for a few bucks more and it took less than 30 seconds to install. Well worth the extra few dollars.
