I don’t actually have an Audi at this point, but am thinking about getting a TT to replace my W124 Mercedes as my daily driver. Nothing against the Benz — it’s been an excellent car — but AWD, better gas mileage and more power are singing their siren songs. (Plus, with a smaller car I’d have more room in my garage for something else!)

The TT coupes look like fun little vehicles to me, but if there’s anything I’ve learned from the BenzWorld forum it’s to do your research BEFORE you buy your car so you can avoid problems that were corrected in later vintages of a model. I’d also like to know what problems to be aware of so I can look for them in the CarFax reports. And, of course, I’d like to hear about the differences in the Mk. 1, Mk. 2 and Mk. 3 series (not that I can afford a Mk. 3).
