Default shocks and springs install

I'm going to bite the bullet and get some shocks/struts for the springs I bought a while back. Any recommendations as far as longevity and ride quality? I'm not looking to race or anything, but justoccasional spirited driving. Coilovers are too expensive at this point.I also want to get the mount bushings taken care of at the same time, but don't know which ones to get. I figure they are probably worn after 74k miles.

Thanks to all!

Edit: I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Koni sports or the Bilstein sports. Pros and Cons?

I just took a look at Tirerack... and holy hell!
The price for everything has gone up. Struts and shocks... not so much, but the springs have increased by $100!

Here's what I paid...
orginal: ouTTie914

costs:
Hotchkis lowering springs: $150
Koni rear shocks: $250 (pair)
Koni front struts: $350 (pair)
Half KMAC kit: $150 (I got a free bushing extraction tool, thanks TTstuff!)
Alignment done at independent shop: $98
Time to complete: 2 full days

Total costs: 2 Days and $998 all totally worth it IMO!
No idea what this would of cost if I paid someone to do... But I figure 2 grand is a good guess.

I'm glad I got my stuff when I did...

i've had my koni sports for about a month now and absolutely love them. Now they're coupled with the Neuspeed Sports and its a nice combination, firm but not harsh.

There is a half (2 peice) and full kit (4 peice bushings) to correct camber on the awd cars. If you drop about 1", 1/2 should be enough, more than 1" you will need the full.
