Hi all,
Everyone know I bought the ECS t-belts kit. I brought the whole box to the shop and talked to them already. But after the job done, they told me didn't replace the stretch bolts~ I told them it must be replace since u took it out. They said never heard of it and they have done 20000+ car (advance audi/vw shop) and no problems. What should i do? can i replace them myself??

you can replace them yourself if you have a engine support bridge i got mine from OTC stinger around 110 shipped

 

you mean the thing that hangs the engine from top?

or a couple blocks of wood, stacked under the edge of the oil pan. (use the edge, not the middle so you don't crack it)

Jack the car, place the blocks, lower the car onto the blocks. Much cheaper than a support bridge.
