Default Smoother 1st to 2nd shift

When im shifting from first to second, its 90% of the time fairly jerky when im doing this, what am i doing wrong while driving? Also, for daily driving, around what rpm should i be taking off in first in? For the most part the rest of the gears are fine, 1-2 just sucks.

^ there really isn't a specified rpm to release clutch from 1st gear. you just gotta smooth it out and "feel" it from idle

+1

but i'd suggest taking a split second longer to roll off the throttle before shifting. no need to slam thru the gears.

If you keep the rpms around 3k, it will be smoother andalso whatssaid above.

Traction control has nothing to do with this
