I heard these two cars are pretty fast. I have buddies with each, and was wondering If my tt was faster then either. The cobalt is stock and the srt4 has minor mods (air intake, bov, notthing really). My tt is a 225 with giac. All drivers are equal.

I was thinking the srt4 would win, my tt would be seccond, then the cobalt in last. What do you guys think?

1/4 mile times stock:
TT - 14.7
SS - 14.4
SRT - 14.1

So with chip, your order should be correct.

 

a TT shouldnt lose to a SS even if both are stock. The SRT is rather fast since it packs a 2.4L engine and less drivetrain loss.

 

Don't mess with an SRT un-less you know what he has under the hood, they may be ugly, but one with light mods will eat you alive.

 

Yeah... I though SS's were slow as ****.

The 1/4 mi times I looked up said different though.

A guy I know around here has a Cobalt SS supercharged with the stage two kit (supposed 50hp). He's probably faster than me for the time being

 

20psi and full exhaust id plenty for your 180fwd to take him.

 

Why don't you just run your buddies cobalt and see what happens, i bet he's a clutz with the clutch and will lose anyway.

 

How much do you all weigh (if one guy is 300lb and the other is 160lb. ya see)? Any car audio in the trunks. What kind of transmitions. Different rims from factory? To many factors. Just race and see.
