Are there any benefits from straight-piping a TT. I have a 225Q with a 42DD pipe and was just wondering about it. Are there any real horsepower or torque gains from it or is it basically a cheap way to make your car sound better?

 

Freed up exhaust flow will let the turbo spool easier. you'll see a little more power. The stock muffler is quite restrictive (and heavy).
