I have a 2001 TT Quattro coupe. Since I've owned the car there has been an issue with the passenger window rolling down but not up. I can roll the window down from the drivers side and from the passenger side using the switch, but when I go to roll it up I have to physically get out of the car and use the key to roll the window up from the outside.

I have a feeling that it's the passenger window control but I don't want to just start replacing equipment on my car right away. Has anyone seen something similar?

 

Having similar issue w/ my 2001 A6 2.7 quattro. Passenger window will go down using both driver and passenger switches, but when I try to roll it up, it slows to a stop unless I manually push it up with my hands. So annoying. Sometimes, once it's all the way up, it just shoots back down about 4 inches without me doing anything! Both of my rear windows are stuck on child lock, too and I cant shut it off. Also, so annoying. If you find out what it is please let me know too, and I'll do the same for you! Do the windows use fuses or is it just a motor? Probly expensive, regardless -Pam
