Test Pipe Gives extra HP
don't waste your money, you lose back preasure and it won't help if you don't have the a full 3inch turbo-back anway. i put a high flow cat back on and it gave me back some back pressure. it just seemed like the throttle response was weaker when i had the test pipe. i didn't like it.
i got my test pipe from 42draftdesigns

well maybe your right, but when i had my test pipe, my car moved with quick response but when i pressed the gas peddle, it didn't seem like it. Its confusing i guess, but when i put a highflow cat on there, the peddle and response felt like it was back, but the car moves with the same quick response if not better imo. plus my car sounded like a v6 on steroids, my car was louder than my friend 350z with headers and test pipes with exhaust lol.
hell ya your right about that, cuz its gonna be a whole different car after the tune, cant wait, the car got scheduled a week later than expect because the shop had too many cars this past week. so she goes in tomorrow. probably be done by the end of the week.
Hey can i ask a dumb question? a friend of mine is a self proclaimed vdub/audi nut, and i was wondering. He says that i will damage my car's o2 sensors by runnin a catless setup, i was just thinking to put a MIL fix, u kno the extensions on the o2 bung, but he says the o2 sensor will still start trippin when i run catless. The car is an '01 a4 1.8t fwd btw. Thanks for the time
You wont do anything to the o2's. Just think about it and you will see how terrible that sounds. Like you already know, you will get a cel unless the o2 sees the correct amount of flow from a spacer and its opening
