Default THANKS NY DOT!!!!

For blasting sand/dirt out of road cracks, DIRECTLY INTO TRAFFIC.

If you see stone chips in these pics, I can tell you they weren't there yesterday.

silver - 2000 180hp, or 6/2005-2/2007
green - 2001 225hp, or 4/2007-current.

Those pits in the headlights are deep enough that only sanding them down will remove them, they're cratered enough you can scrape off excess plastic with your fingernail. The paint MIGHT be saveable in most places, but I'm gonna get a quote for a respray, and fill out the NY DOT damage claim form, and see if the state will foot the bill.

Man that sucks! The same thing happened to my wife in her B5 Passat Wagon GLX a few years ago. It was 2 years old and we counted over 500 chips in the paint. It was the whole front end and the drivers side. We submitted a claim to the OH-DOT and they paid for the front and side re-paint. Good luck! Hope they fix it.

Thats the way to go. I work for a transit government agency in Florida and when we poured concrete for a train bridge by the marina we had to pay for the boats that sprayed.
