Default tinting tail and head lights.

Hello everyone, New TT owner here. I just got my 180 TT a week ago and I love it! I have so many questions, but I plan on reading to find answers... except for this one
Tinting tail lights and headlights, Good place to go for this? Your thoughts?

You can either use something like laminx film or use tint spray that can be found at and sort of hobby shop. Have used the spray before, its comes out ok and you can control the tint level but a laminx would be a better long term solution.

There's a lot of people here that have tinted tail lights. Couple ways to go about doing it. I have pix on my profile of the spray on tint

1. Best looking (to me)is the spray tint. Few steps one doing it this way
2. You can get a stencil to cut peaces out of regular window tint
3.You can buy smoked out lenses (not a fan cuz its not a smooth look)

As far as tinting the headlights... Cops don't like that at all!!! Don't recommend it

CHP? What a dick!
How dark was your taillight tint? There should be no reason for a ticket as long as you can see the lights when activated.
