Default Tire size calculator problem/ Nokian tires for TT

I would like to purchase the Nokian WR all season tire for my new 2008 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro Roadster

The stock tires that come with the Audi are either the 245/40-18 or the 245/45-17

When I plugged NOKIAN'S available tires into the tire size calculator at http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I have come up with two tires with close dimensions to keep the REVS/mile similar.

225/55R16
205/60R16

However, the calculator gives a different REVS/mile from what is shown in the product table on THEIR web site. See below :the numbers in parentheses are your posted values. Why is there a discrepancy?

Is there another NOKIAN tire that would be a closer match to either of the two stock tires for the Audi TT?

225/55-16 4.9in 12.9in 25.7in 80.9in 783(807) 0.1% 225/55R16 9.2 wide

205/60-16 4.8in 12.8in 25.7in 80.7in 785(809) -0.1% 205/60R16 92 H 8.2 wide

Thank you

THis whole thread scares me. The op doesnt know if he has 17 or 18" wheels and is looking at 16" tires. WOW.
And someone saying there is no such thing as "all-season tires"....DOUBLE WOW

Where are you from? How do you not have all season tires? Unless your in a place that never snows, you have all seasons available.

I think you mean you prefer or choose not to use them. That is the best for grip in both seasons. Those with 2 sets of wheels can do that, if money permits it...right TTkid?
