Default tt project ideas

so im selling my avant, im looking to start a winter project and i want to go with a tt. The thing im having a hard time figuring out is what motor to go with. Im looking to make 400+ hp to the wheels and have a good car from a dig as well as on a roll. I was thinking either a 1.8t stroked, or just go with a 2.0. but i would really like to go with an s4 motor if thats possible w/o costing me an arm and a leg. I would like to hear your honest in put on what i should do or what you have done to your tt and what kind of power, suspension and such. this is just a feeler thread to get ideas on what to do.

1.8t can do that with rods and an A4 head, if I'm not mistaken

if you can fit 2 1.8ts into a TT, you can fit anything into a TT.

No. its not possible. It would easily work in your A4 though. I would say just put that $$ into your A4. A 2.7T with Ko4s sounds like what u want. the A4s Torsen quattro is going to be way better than the TT's Haldex in the snow as well.
